Burnevik is a sizeable winger with a good reach and perhaps some underrated stickhandling ability. He showed flashes of silky mitts at times but was relatively inconsistent in doing so. He looked like a meat-and-potatoes puckhandler at times and on other plays he showed an ability to quickly move the puck from east to west, and even attempted a few between-the-legs pulls to generate a shot on goal...
