CHL Announces Top Prospects Game Roster

Considered a smart two-play defender who can chip in offensively, he plays a physical brand of hockey. Well-rounded and scouts have trouble finding many weaknesses in his game. He possesses above average skating speed and agility and he’s able to drive opponents to outside of the skating lanes effectively. He uses his long reach and physical play to create turnovers and impose his will on defenders. Strong on the boards and able to control the pace of the game. Great transition game. His speed and skating can help him when he gets into trouble and he is able to turn on a dime and create space for himself and teammates. When going end-to-end, he can really pick up speed to get into the offensive zone and create plays. He utilizes smart passes to the outlet and can quarterback the play. He is a scoring threat with his quick shot and ability to keep plays alive in the offensive zone. He is a physical presence on the ice and not afraid to stick up for teammates or get involved in scrums. A big body with elite skating, confidence and an offensive upside, he will be a great addition to the team that chooses him. When he makes mistakes, he shows he learns from them by tightening up on the next play due to his coachability.
