CHL Announces Top Prospects Game Roster

A smart two-way forward with quick feet and fast speed, he uses his skating ability to create controlled zone entries and can change directions quickly. He has a great vision and he opens the play well in all three zones. He possesses some quick hands and he can be very dynamic. Not afraid to try no-look, cross-ice passes, he sometimes misses and needs to work on improving his consistency, but possesses quick hands and nice puck control. Overall, he has good vision and generally makes good passes when he keeps it simple and quick. He has good strength and isn’t afraid to get into board battles. He loves to cut to the net at any given time to surprise goalies. Good speed in the neutral zone, too. He owns a quick release and slick mitts that makes him very dangerous given space and time. He’s a constant threat in the offensive zone with a lot of upside to his game. He enjoys scoring goals and does it often. He’s effective on the backcheck and while not the biggest body, he likes to fight for the puck. Good at limiting opposing shot attempts, recovering dump-ins and getting the puck back into the offensive zone, he is working on his two-game as a responsible center. Needs to play with more consistency, but has the skills to play a simple but offensive game.
