A small winger who has great control of the puck when it’s on his stick and uses his hands and edgework to evade contact. He has good puck skills, he has the ability to contribute as a playmaker because of his vision and ability to hit teammates with accurate passes. In the offensive zone he’s a dangerous creator because of his ability to get the puck onto teamamte’s sticks in the high-danger areas. His size is his biggest issue, he’s short and with a slight frame he lacks the strength the win in physical battles. Opponents can easily knock him off his feet, or knock him off the puck simply because they’re bigger than him. His evasiveness helps mitigate his lack of size but it only goes so far, when he’s in close-quarters he struggles the second there’s any physical pressure applied to him. Without the puck he is a little inconsistent, at times he applies pressure and tries to win possession but other times he’s a perimeter player and avoids going after it. He has a lot of positives in his game but with his size and strength he has a lot of work to do before he can make the jump to the NHL level.
