A smooth skating, playmaking forward who can carry the puck on a string, this speedy player is known for his quick feet and ability to accelerate and hit top speed quickly. Above average speed means he is a step ahead of most players on the ice and he uses it to his advantage to create time and space in the offensive zone. Pairing nicely with his speed is his craft stickhandling skills and he is a dynamic weapon with a booming slap shot. Despite his slight frame, he really possesses tantalizing skills offensively but that means opponents are all over him. Can be predictable around the net and can be selfish, so he isn’t known for his passing game. Also needs to work on better decision making as he tries to do too much on his own and is forced into making mistakes. Defensively, he understands the game but needs to work on making better decisions in high-pressure situations. He backchecks with tenacity and never gives up on the play. Overall, he is an intelligent player who understands the game and uses his ability to create space for himself. Will need to work on refining his game if he is to reach his full potential and needs to rely on and trust his teammates more. If he works on his two-way game, could be a dynamite forward.
