Pastujov named All-American Prospects Game MVP

Sasha Pastujov, eligible for the 2021 NHL Draft, was named the most valuable player of the 2021 BioSteel All-American Game on Wednesday.

Pastujov, a forward for Team Blue comprised of National Team Development Program skaters, tied the All-American Game record for goals and points, netting two goals and an assist in the 7-1 win over Team White, made up of USHL all-stars.

“Pastujov got better and better as the game went on,” FCHockey scout Josh Bell said. “He showed his ability to find lanes to the net, his impressive hands, and his calm, poised demeanour. He can burn you one-on-one and make it look so easy, He made some really nice passing plays to show off his vision of the ice. We knew that he was going to be a player to watch in this game, and he didn’t disappoint.”
