McGroarty is extremely smart in the offensive zone both with and without the puck. Working away from the puck is when he looks the most effective. He’s was able to look at Finland’s defensive setup and find the soft spots to get open for his teammates. On multiple instances he found himself wide open at the backdoor but the pass either never came or got broken up by the Finnish defense...
