Unfortunately, his outing against Rimouski was not a great one for Lapierre. While Chicoutimi did manage to score three goals and beat Rimouski, Lapierre’s name was absent from the scoresheet. There were a few noticeable issues that popped up throughout the game. Lapierre had a costly turnover in the neutral zone. In addition, there was a hit that Lapierre absorbed that he could have avoided. He kept his head down and was caught off guard when knocked down. Lapierre also had some issues trapping the puck with his blade when a teammate would deliver a crisp pass to him. Not only did he have issues capturing the puck, but he also had issues maintaining the puck as well. While there were not many Kodak moments for Lapierre in this matchup, he did display quality speed and was able to create plenty of space for himself along the half wall.
