As a player I was high on last season, Ladd left me unimpressed in my first viewing of him this season. He looked slow, and young as he got fairly exposed on a number of break ins. He looked nervous about fast moving forwards, forfeiting way too much space for them in his defensive zone. Ladd will need to really up his game moving forward ...
