Baker is a steady, quiet, unspectacular but still very efficient young defenseman. He does the little details well such as using the board when all his options are taken and thus avoid any trouble at the blue line, or being able to tip any rolling/bouncing pucks before it gets behind him and allow an odd man rush to the opposite team.
