Hugg is a smart playmaking forward who can make some good puck decisions due to high-end hockey smarts. Hugg can carry the puck through the neutral zone but didnt seem to have any explosive ability and his foot speed is run of the mill but can slam on the breaks to get just enough space to get passes off.
