Surprised Latvia had two decent players, but heres another one. Smirnovs has good speed and stood out as a speedy puck carrier with high IQ. Displayed good vision seeing open teammates and getting open for breakouts or scoring chances. Aggressive the defensive zone with good awareness and positioning. Small guy, so probably not interesting for the NHL either, but was one of Latvias top guys. ...
