Timmins reminds me of former Greyhound Ryan Sproul. Timmins is extremely effective at moving the puck up the ice, using his agility, balance, and ability to accelerate very effectively. Timmins has a powerful shot that he uses wisely from the back end, but doesnt use it enough, especially on the power play.
