Didnt get the best of looks at Alexeev tonight but did have a few notes by the end of the game that could be added to my previous report on the Russian defender. He displayed some confidence with the puck as he deked his man to move into more space to decide whether or not to slow it or pass it off, often choosing the latter and pushing the play forward with a pass.
