Afanasyev didnt play a lot. He seems to move well and have good speed. Had one good rush where he displayed very quick hands, except that I did not notice anything else from him. Afanasyev has the body and tools to be a good player. He probably just needs more time to adapt to the North American style of play and more ice time to be more noticeable.
