Kiersted has shown poise with the puck for a younger defenseman. He’s got smarts and skill and isn’t afraid to take a hit and he’s demonstrated that he can and it doesn’t affect his play. He’s solid defensively with a great stride and smooth skating ability. He’ll need to get stronger to match up well with bigger opposing forwards but handles himself pretty well...
