As the whole Sweden, Ahl opened the game pretty bad, not creating anything. It however changed when the second period started. He is not the fastest player, but he uses his strength, balance and fluid movements to carry the puck, as well as chasing for the puck. Ahl liked to protect the puck with his strength instead of trying to make fancy moves, and he really has a nose for knowing when to pass....
