The first thing I noticed when I saw Sanheim was his very strong skating. A two-way defenseman, Sanheim made good plays with the puck under pressure most of the time. His shot was hard and he showed off good vision with the puck. He was very active offensively and his hands were very good for such a big defenseman. He was fairly tough to play against, too.
