This game was another subpar game from Ford in which there was little that stood out as positives. He did appear to be better in his own end especially along the boards neutralizing puck carriers. He let Smirnov slip behind him in the neutral zone, missed the stretch pass, and couldnt catch up with him in which Smirnov buried for the game winner.
