Irving is an all-around solid defenseman. None of his attributes really stand out unless you really watch him closely. He is a decent skater. I would like a player of his size to be a lot stronger in the regard right now, but it doesn’t hurt Irving’s ability to contribute. Not the best acceleration or agility, but he gets around.
