His skating isnt fantastic, but it isnt atrocious. He doesnt have blazing top-speed with the puck on his stick, and could add some quickness to his first few steps in that regard. However, he did show the ability to catch up on a backcheck and recover with his team. His ability to control the puck had more to do with his sheer strength than it did his handiness. He doesnt have the fastest of hands...
