Mattsson is a pretty good two-way defender. He is pretty good at all aspects of the game. He’s got one major flaw though. His straight forward speed is really slow. It looks like he’s skating in mud. He makes up for it at this level with good positioning and overall mobility. I’m not convinced it will at NHL level though if he doesn’t improve. Reads the game well, good pass...
