For a big guy, his skating isn’t half-bad. He has some pretty good speed up the wing, with good top-speed and a strong stride. He can work on his first-few steps, however. He controls the puck well at top-speed, and uses his size and strength to his full advantage, protecting the puck with his body and reach.
