Pouliot has ability to play heavy minutes. A wide skating stride and is strong on his skates and has ability to get back into play if he pinches. Uses a long stick for the pokecheck and has a good tape to tape pass and cradles/receives the puck well. Can play with different D partners. Plays a calm game, no panic.
