Iafrate really impressed. He looks to have found his role as a smart, defense first defenseman. He was solid positionally and did a pretty effective job at controlling gaps in his own zone. He still shows some good offensive upside, but does not try to do to much with the puck as he did earlier in the season. He seems to have found his niche this year.
