Vail played the best game that I have seen him play. He looks to have improved his footwork and acceleration. He looked much more confident with the puck, and was strong offensively. He scored a nice goal by showing patience and out waiting Altshuller and Brown to put it in the open net. Last year he would have shot the puck into Altshullers pads and waste a scoring chance.
