Hanson is a big, solid skating defensive defender. Hes got great size and has plus-plus mobility for someone over 6-3 and 200 pounds. He handles himself well in his own zone and loves to play physical and defend hard in the corners. Wasnt exposed at all on the forecheck and seems to be a quick decision maker.
