McIvor continues to play well. He is one of the more intelligent players that I have seen this season, and is strong positionally. He is at his best in his own end, winning battles for loose pucks, controlling the flow of play and keeping things tight. He is strong at controlling gaps, and has an active stick. He makes smart plays with the puck, and does not try to push things to much offensively....
