A dynamic winger that plays the game with a lot of speed. He has decent first strides and acceleration. He has a good top speed, both with and without the puck. His puck control is above average, and he can control it in high speed. He is agile, has good movement, which helps him to play an evasive game and to find open space for either a shot or pass. He has a great, crisp pass. He also uses his mobility off the puck to twist and turn to lose his marking and create space for his linemates. He is not afraid to get into dirty areas in front of the net, but he has trouble when facing bigger players in front of the net or along the boards. Possesses a decent shot, especially his wrister which is above average. He is a good forechecker with his compete-level and skating, but his major area of improvement is his defensive game. He displays urgency in his backcheck, but sometimes backs off too soon. He handles the physical aspect of the game despite of his body size but need more strength in his game. He has some tools that he could develop even more and overall is an interesting player to keep an eye on. Needs to work on a consistent effort in all areas of his game.
