Top-10 prospects of the month – March 2021

An offensive-minded winger who can use his quick feet and great edgework to navigate around the ice with the puck on his stick. He has good speed, his quick strides allow him to get up to speed quickly and win races to loose pucks, he has offensive instincts that allow him to be effective as both a creator and a finisher. Despite the small frame and lack of physical strength, Hasa is not afraid to go into the corners and battle for loose pucks in the offensive zone. Although he gets overpowered by larger players, his effort and willingness to go into the dirty areas is a positive in his game. In the defensive zone he needs to work on his ability to read the play. He is passive and stationary while in the defensive setup and struggles at tracking his defensive assignment. Consistency is key for him, adding some muscle should boost his confidence and allow him to take strides in all aspects of his game. As a smaller winger, the offensive ability is there, his speed and ability with the puck make him a candidate to be drafted late in the draft. If he can mature physically and continue to hone the skills he already possesses he has a chance to make it to the next level.
