A smooth skating winger who has average size and can attack opposing defenders in a multitude of ways. Bohm is at his best when he can attack defenders in one-on-one situations. He has above average puck skills to beat defenders or is capable of using his body to protect the puck and power his way by his opponents. He spent his draft year playing U18 hockey in Austria where he was able to produce at a high-level, Bohm also was one of the lone standouts for Austria in the World Juniors in December. He has a nice toolbox but there are a lot of areas he needs to improve in. Without the puck, he tends to stay to the outside and acts as an observer, rather than inserting himself into the play. There are times that he avoids getting into an opponent’s lane to slow them down and just lets his opponents walk by him. With his frame Bohm could easily impact the game defensively, he’s has pro ready size but plays a timid game at times unless the puck is on his stick. He has enough skill to force his way onto someone’s radar, but at this point in time he has a lower chance of being drafted in the upcoming NHL Draft.
