FCHockey releases Final ranking for 2021 NHL Draft

He is an absolute grinder and can make an impact on a game.  Despite his size, he moves surprisingly fast and agile. He is often first one in on the forecheck and if he gets to the puck, his board play deep in the zone is excellent. He can pin and hold and wait for help while maintaining possession. His first instinct is to go net front and wait to redirect pucks, provide screens, or jump on rebounds. He is the type of player who thrives in that area of the ice while providing that same hard-nosed presence around the goal mouth. He hasn’t progressed into a possession or playmaking type player but what he does do well is generate space for others and go to the hard areas consistently, grinding out shifts and creating confusion with his in your face game style. There isn’t a lot of diversity in his release points or his deception but heavy is heavy. Defensively, he’s very reliable and hard to play against. He picks up his responsibilities quickly and is effective at net front by battling for position. He is very physical and often has his way to establish position no matter where he is on the ice. He is a quality foot soldier who might be of interest if he can add some diversity to the blue collar elements.
