FCHockey releases Final ranking for 2021 NHL Draft

He is a smooth skater with good edges, able to close gaps quickly and keep up with the majority of opponents, but he does lack a high top-speed, which speedy forwards take advantage of. He is strong on his edges and has a quick stride, able to create decent speed when given space. Defensively, he does tend to puck watch, and will need to become more aware of his surroundings as some of his mistakes costs his team goals against. He displays difficulty finding the right play while he is under pressure and ends up turning the puck over into open space, giving away possession. He ties to contribute offensively by starting breakouts from behind the net, but when he enters traffic in the neutral zone, he struggles to protect and control the puck, failing on making his own zone entries, and relying on passing to teammates instead. The best asset he contains is his shot and ability to play on the power play. He doesn’t need much time to get his shot off with his quick release and has good accuracy from good distance. He doesn’t shoot often, mostly shooting from the point. Taking a lot of low danger shots with the majority of them getting blocked. He’s effective along the boards, able to control the puck well and make plays to his teammates. He could be stronger on the puck.
