Zadina repeats as QMJHL rookie of the month

Filip Zadina has gone back-to-back with the Halifax Mooseheads.

Zadina, fifth in Future Considerations’ Fall ranking for the 2018 NHL Draft, was named Quebec Major Junior Hockey League rookie of the month for November, following up his October nod.

The 18-year-old had 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 11 games, including four multi-point efforts. He recorded his first QMJHL hat trick and added an assist for a career-high four points against the Gatineau Olympiques on Nov. 3.

Zadina is tied for first in the QMJHL scoring race, alongside Matthew Boucher of the Quebec Remparts, with 38 points (19 goals, 19 assists) in 27 games played.
