Tkachuk headlines AAPG rosters

Brady Tkachuk will headline the 2017 CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game.

The sixth annual CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game will be held on Thursday, September 21 at KeyBank Center in Buffalo.

Tkachuk, sixth in Future Considerations’ preliminary ranking for the 2018 NHL Draft, headlines the 42 players invited to participate in the tournament. Tkachuk, who captained Team USA to gold at the 2017 IIHF World Under-18 Championship, had 25 goals and 54 points in 61 games with the National Team Development Program in 2016-17 and is committed to the University of Boston for the 2017-18 season.

He’ll be joined at the showcase by Bode Wilde. Wilde, ranked seventh, had eight goals and 19 points in 56 games with the National Team Development Program’s under-17 team.

Other notables include defensemen Quinton Hughes, K’Andre Miller and Mattias Samuelsson and forwardsOliver Wahlstrom, Jake Wise and Joel Farabee.
