Swanson, Park front Team USA at 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup
Mac Swanson and Aidan Park, both eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft, are among the names that will lead Team USA into action at the 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
The tournament, the first event in the 2024 draft season, will be held from July 31-August 5 in Trencin, Slovakia and Breclav, Czechia.
Swanson had 55 points (12 goals, 43 assists) in 57 games as a rookie for the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League last season. He also added 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in nine playoff games. Swanson has committed to the University of North Dakota for the 2024-25 season.
Park recorded 82 points (38 goals, 44 assists) in 53 games for Shattuck St. Mary’s 18U program. He also logged four regular-season games with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL, and had one goal in three playoff games with Green Bay. Park is committed to the University of Michigan for the 2025-26 season.
