Draft eligibles revealed for the 2024 CHL Top Prospects Game

Berkly Catton of the Spokane Chiefs and Sam Dickinson of the London Knights, two top prospects for the 2024 NHL Draft, were among the 40 skaters named Tuesday to the 2024 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

The CHLTop Prospects Game will take place at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Catton, an ‘A’ skater in FCHockey’s Preliminary ranking for the 2024 draft published in October, is one of the top forwards eligible for the 2042 draft. He has 46 points (22 goals, 24 assists) in 30 games for the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League this season.

Dickinson, a top defender in the draft class and a fellow ‘A’ skater, has 26 points (eight goals, 18 assists) in 32 games for the London Knights in the Western Hockey League.

The pair will be joined by fellow ‘A’ rated skaters Charlie Elick of the Brandon Wheat Kings, Liam Greentree of the Windsor Spitfires, Tanner Howe of the Regina Pats, Maxim Masse of the Chicoutimi Sagueneens, Henry Mews of the Ottawa 67’s, Zayne Parekh of the Saginaw Spirit, Ryder Ritchie of the Prince Albert Raiders, Beckett Sennecke of the Oshawa Generals, and Carter Yakemchuk of the Calgary Hitmen.

Rosters for the CHL Top Prospects Game were selected by the NHL’s 32 member clubs.

The 40 players named to the game will be assigned to either Team Red or Team White next month. Captains and alternates for both clubs will also be announced in January.
