Bouchard named OHL defenseman of the month

Evan Bouchard of the London Knights had himself a November to remember.

Bouchard, 16th in Future Considerations’ Fall ranking for the 2018 NHL Draft, was named Ontario Hockey League defenseman of the month for November, leading all blueliners with 18 points (five goals, 13 assists) and a plus-11 rating in 10 games.

The 18-year-old recorded points in eight of those 10 games, and had a career-high four points (one goal, three assists) in a game against the Saginaw Spirit on Nov. 3. He also had two three-point efforts.

Bouchard is fourth in scoring among OHL defensemen with 30 points (eight goals, 22 assists) this season.
