Elshafey has been involved in hockey since he was a kid, playing minor hockey with the Bow Valley Flames in Calgary before transitioning his passion for the sport into scouting. Elshafey, who previously worked with DraftPro as a regional WHL scout, specializes in draft prospects coming Western Canada with an eye on the Canadian Hockey League as a whole.
