Peeters is a skilled goalscoring winger who excels at finishing plays around the crease. A smooth skater with a fluid stride, but he lacks the quickness, agility and speed to be a threat on the counterattack. His low center of gravity and solid puck skills allow him to protect his puck well, but he lacks the strength to battle against physical defenders. He has a quick release and an excellent scoring touch, which helps him capitalize in dangerous areas and surprise goaltenders. He possesses great hand-eye coordination to deviate shots from the point and jumps on rebounds quickly. He has made a living off getting to the net for second-hand opportunities and isn’t afraid to disturb the goaltender for scoring chances. He attempts a lot of shots from farther away in transitions, which have yet to translate into goals or even dangerous looks as he seems to be lacking the power to be a threat away from the slot. He is a below average playmaker who prefers to get himself into dangerous areas rather than drive the play and create plays for his teammates. His passing abilities are decent, but he lacks the vision or creativity to generate offensive opportunities for his linemates. He flashes decent puck-handling abilities, keeping great control of the puck in open space and dodges pressure with quick cuts. His compete is average, as he isn’t afraid to crash to the net, but fails to put much intensity on the backcheck so his defensive game needs work.
