A young goalie who has poise when in his crease, he’s a tall and slighter goalie who uses his athleticism to help offset his smaller frame. Adam has quick reflexes, particularly with his glove hand and can move laterally rather quickly in his crease. Like many goalies in the game now, Adam looks comfortable when handling the puck and at times is eager to leave the crease and control the puck for himself. He approaches the game in a calculated manner, he relies on his reflexes and his positioning to make saves. An area of concern for Adam is his rebound control, as he matures and gets more experience he should be able to dictate where he can deflect pucks and keep them out of the high-danger areas if he gives up a second chance. As he matures physically and adds some weight to his frame he will fill the net out more and be able to challenge shooters with more efficiency. Goalies are always tough to gauge, especially at a young age but with Adam you can see that he has potential. He has a calm demeanor and doesn’t look choppy or erratic with his movements, if he can develop physically and clean up a few areas in his game he might have a shot at taking his game to a higher level.
