FCHockey releases Final ranking for 2021 NHL Draft

A tall, slighter framed winger who can create off the rush with his vision and passing ability. When Skoropad is engaged in the game, he carries the puck through the neutral zone and hits his teammates streaking towards the net for scoring chances. He can generate off the cycle, but is much more effective off the rush because he can use his footwork and puckhandling skills to freeze defenders and take advantage of the passing lanes he creates. He has good foot-speed, he can accelerate quickly but has average level speed at best. Although he can keep up with players at his level he might struggle with the pace of professional hockey if his speed doesn’t improve. His consistency is his biggest issue, when he’s engaged and active in the scope of the game he has no issues impacting the game in a positive way. When he’s disinterested he stays away from the play and spends most of his time on the perimeter, waiting for someone else to do all the work and get him the puck. Skoropad has the tools to be successful, now it’s up to him to find that consistency and take his game to the next level, especially if he wants to hear his name called during the NHL Draft.
