A great skating winger who has great size and a lot of raw potential that could be unlocked with the right coaching. He’s light on his feet and has quick strides that look a little clumsy at times but work well for him right now and can be fixed. He has great puckhandling skills and confidence with the puck on his stick, flashing some jaw-dropping moves when attacking on the rush. His soft hands allow him to deceive the goalie when shooting the puck, he can get off his shot from any angle and has decent accuracy allowing him to catch goalies by surprise. With his size, he needs to add some nastiness to his game, he can shy away from going hard into the corners and lacks the consistent effort on a nigh to night basis but in his defense does not have ton of high-level experience right now. The consistency will be his biggest concern, if he can work on that and start bringing his best effort shift after shift then there is a ton of raw ability to work with here. Nazarov has the potential to be a high-skilled player, but needs time to be coached and developed properly before becoming an impact player at the professional level. Players with his raw ability are perfect targets for the last rounds in the draft.
