FCHockey releases Final ranking for 2021 NHL Draft

A player that was affected by the OHL season’s cancellation, Goure was able to play in two games during the PBHH Erie Showcase. Goure has positional versatility and looks comfortable playing as a center or as a winger. A good skater with quick strides that allow him to accelerate to his top speed quickly, and comfortable carrying the puck through the neutral zone. The best aspect of his game is that he’s excellent working off the puck in the offensive zone, finding weak spots to get open for his shot. His effort can waiver particularly on the defensive side, he’s a little inconsistent when it comes to getting back on the backcheck. He’s not a lazy player by any means but at times he can get caught flat footed and left behind when the other team transitions to the offensive attack. He has a slighter frame, but doesn’t shy away from getting into the dirty areas, but will need to add some strength to his game in order to be more effective in these areas. Missing his draft year because of the pandemic could hurt his draft stock, but he had an impressive rookie OHL season and has a chance to be selected in the final round of the NHL Draft.
