Raska is a competitive agitator who brings a high level of energy to every shift. His stride is quick and explosive, helping him gain speed with only a few steps. He’s also able to pass opponents with a good separation speed and get on partial breakaways by attacking the center of the ice. His above average quickness gives him the edge on many loose puck battles and allows him to stay shifty in his direction changes. However, he seems to have puck control issues, often losing the puck after an offensive zone entry, but shows a willingness to fight to get it back. He can be dangerous through the neutral zone if given the right opportunity thanks to his decent top speed and puck skills. His quick release, decision-making and offensive instincts are above average though he needs to work on his shot selection. He absolutely loves to lay the body and he will always look out for potential hits to bring energy to the game. He displays a high compete level, getting to the crease for potential rebounds and loves to chirp his opponent after the whistle to get into their heads. He showcases a high compete level in his own end, putting constant efforts on the puck pursuit and in the defensive zone. He jumps into every puck battle and he’s a relentless forechecker. He works hard to recover the puck and never misses a backcheck. He is active in the defensive zone and adapts to the play to help his defensemen down low and covers the point when needed.
