These draft eligibles will play in the inaugural Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game

Porter Martone and Michael Misa will represent their respective conferences in the inaugural Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game on Jan. 15.

The Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game will feature 42 of the top prospects eligible for the 2025 NHL Draft from the Ontario Hockey League in a a first of its kind event.

Rosters were selected by a committee including representatives from NHL Central Scouting with input from NHL general managers alongside OHL GMS Matt Turek of Brantford and Dave Drinkill of Saginaw. A pair of roster spots on each team is also fulfilled by unsigned overage players.

Martone, No. 3 in FCHockey’s Winter ranking for the 2025 NHL Draft, leads the OHL in points per game this season at 2.00. He has 56 points (21 goals, 35 assists) in 28 games with Brampton this season.

Misa, No. 4, is second in league scoring with 66 points (32 goals, 34 assists) in 34 games with Saginaw.

Matthew Schaefer, No. 1 in FCHockey’s Winter ranking for the 2025 draft, will be unable to represent the Western Conference because of a broken clavicle sustained with Canada at the 2025 World Juniors. He has been replaced by Daniil Skvortsov.

EASTERN CONFERENCE

Forwards: Lirim Amidovski (North Bay), Joshua Avery (Brantford), Ethan Czata (Niagara), Filip Ekberg (Ottawa), Owen Griffin (Oshawa), Tyler Hopkins (Kingston), Beau Jelsma (Barrie), Lucas Karmiris (Brampton), Porter Martone (Brampton), Shamar Moses (North Bay), Jake O’Brien (Brantford), Aiden Young (Peterborough).

Defensemen: Kashawn Aitcheson (Barrie), Carson Cameron (Peterborough), Kaleb Dietsch (Ottawa), Nolan Jackson (Sudbury), Jacob LeBlanc (North Bay), Evan Passmore (Barrie), Xander Velliaris (Kingston).

Goaltenders: David Egorov (Brantford), Jack Ivankovic (Brampton).

WESTERN CONFERENCE

Forwards: Sam Alfano (Erie), Jacob Cloutier (Saginaw), Kristian Epperson (Saginaw), Travis Hayes (Sault Ste. Marie), Jimmy Lombardi (Flint), Brady Martin (Sault Ste. Marie), Michael Misa (Saginaw), Adrian Misaljevic (Kitchener), Harry Nansi (Owen Sound), Jack Nesbitt (Windsor), Luca Romano (Kitchener), Malcolm Spence (Erie).

Defensemen: Quinn Beauchesne (Guelph), David Bedkowski (Owen Sound), Henry Brzustewicz (London), Josh Glavin (Saginaw), Cameron Reid (Kitchener), Daniil Skvortsov (Guelph), Mitch Young (Sarnia).
