Draft eligible Jett Luchanko named William Hanley Trophy recipient

Luchanko, a top prospect for the 2024 NHL Draft, was named recipient of the William Hanley Trophy awarded to the Ontario Hockey League’s most sportsmanlike player as voted by league general managers.
“I’m grateful to be recognized for demonstrating good sportsmanship as it is a reflection of my commitment to competing at the highest levels of the game,” Luchanko said in a release. “I’m honored to follow in the footsteps of Guelph Storm graduate Nick Suzuki who won this award three times. He was the lone player to finish in the top-three of four different categories in the annual OHL coaches poll, including second in the smartest player, hardest worker, and best skater sections, and third in best shootout shooter among players in the league’s Western Conference.
